It is William Shakespeare’s 52nd birthday and he is writing a new play for the people of Northampton to enjoy. However, things aren’t going to plan due to a heavy bout of writers block! Join Shakespeare as he travels across Northampton looking for inspiration for his new play. Together, can you create a theatre piece worthy of the mischievous fairy Puck who travels with you?
This original promenade performance invites audiences to walk in the footsteps of an Elizabethan Northamptonian by visiting wonderful heritage sites such as Hazelrigg House and Abington Park Manor. Discover who lived in these beautiful buildings in 1616 while you journey through Northampton’s powerful and interesting history. Written and directed by Erica Martin (All In The Timing) this immersive performance will invite audiences to enjoy crafts, puzzles, dancing and sword fighting. |
